Keynote 1: Dr. Athanassios Katsis

Sustainability and the Importance of Green Skills

Dr. Athanassios Katsis is a Professor of Statistics in Education at the Department of Social and Education Policy at the University of Peloponnese, where he currently serves as the Rector. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from George Washington University, USA. Prior to his current position, he has served as a faculty member at the University of Aegean, Greece, the University of Cyprus and the University of Toledo, Ohio as well as a consultant with the World Bank in Washington DC. His research interests lie in applied statistical analysis, and modelling, research design, sample size calculations, hierarchical data modelling, Bayesian Statistics and simulation methods.


Keynote 2: Ms. Ioanna Nydrioti

Water Footprint in Manufacturing Industries: a Tool Towards Water Circularity

Ioanna Nydrioti is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and she currently is a consultant in environmental management, with an emphasis on water resources and liquid waste management. She has served as a researcher at the Energy and Environmental Systems Unit of NTUA in European research projects on water and liquid waste management, environmental systems management and adaptation to Climate Change. She is also a member of the Roster of Experts of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Body of Knowledge of the Water Scarcity in Southern Europe of the EIT Climate – KIC.


Keynote 3: Mr. Konstantinos Eptaimeros & Mr. Vassilis Karagiannopoulos

Emerging Need and Significance of Soft Skills in SMEs

Mr. Eptaimeros received his Ph.D. in Mechanics by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He also earned a triple M.Sc. at the NTUA, after obtaining his Diploma from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the NTUA. In his research capacity, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics of the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH), as well as at the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the NTUA. Mr. Eptaimeros is the co-founder of the F Mind”, which is a company that offers targeted corporate and personal solutions in issues relating to growth, behavioural flexibility and managing pressure, stress and crises.

Mr. Karagiannopoulos holds a degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from the University of Indianapolis. He is a certified Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and Coach, Master Time Line Therapy Practitioner and Master Hypnosis Practitioner. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in the corporate sector in Greece, as an HR trainer and account manager of major corporate clients. He has met and worked as crew and support with seminal figures of this field, in seminars with over 12.000 participants. Mr. Karagiannopoulos is the founder of the F Mind”, which is a company that offers targeted corporate and personal solutions in issues relating to growth, behavioural flexibility and managing pressure, stress and crises.
